Have you tried plugging it into your computer? I've had mine freeze when trying to open a self-made PDF, and wouldn't do anything. I plugged it in and re-synced. After that it worked (except for that PDF).

It might be worth a shot.

Michaela, if you're doing a reset by just pressing and releasing the reset button, try it again only hold the button for a slow count of five before you release. If that doesn't work, try Shelby's idea; connect it, safely eject, then disconnect it. Either way, it sounds like you have one or more corrupted files on it. Even e-books from the most reputable e-booksellers are sometimes at fault but if you got any of these from some of the free sites, I'd start by eliminating those and see if it can be narrowed down that way.

You're welcome. I just remembered I was getting an alert that there's an update to the 350 firmware. It probably isn't a factor but did you do that update? Anyway, please let us know how it's going.

Its working again, thanks for your advice. I had to delete all of the books in my library and start again, but at least I'm up and working again.

I'm glad it's working now. It's probably best that you just put a couple of e-books on at a time and make sure everything is fine before adding more. That way if it was one or more corrupted files, you'll be able to track down the culprit without having to delete everything again.

I'm glad to hear your Sony is back to functioning again. Sometimes it's just the download itself that is corrupt in an ebook file. If you're able to figure out which book is the problem child, you can try going back to the bookstore where you bought it and get a fresh download. Sometimes a new copy of the file is all you need.
